TIB Mourns the Passing of Former Board Member Advocate Tawfique Nawaz

Dhaka, 19 August 2026: Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) mourns the death of its former Board of Trustees member, Advocate Tawfique Nawaz.

On behalf of TIB’s Board of Trustees, management and members, as well as the Committees of Concerned Citizens (CCC), Youth Engagement and Support (YES), and Active Citizens Groups (ACG) – formed under TIB’s inspiration across the country – the organisation prays for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Mr Tawfique Nawaz and conveys its deepest condolences to his bereaved family.
